Steak in a Nutshell

I found this cute little “Brief History of Steak” online and thought you might like to see it.

It’s all the basics of steak in a neat, concise package. Looks like a school project.

I’m wishing my school projects had been so much fun. I remember styrofoam solar systems which included planets that are no longer planets now.

My how things change.

Check out this sweet little page here – and share it with your kids. It’s educational!

That’s One Expensive Steak Knife!

When you have Hollywood paychecks at your disposal, apparently you can buy whatever you want.

So, naturally, actor Nicolas Cage has chosen to spend his cash on a mammoth ivory-handled steak knife.

$2,000 cash to be exact.

The man loves his steak.

And this knife will make cutting it a joy!

Read on here for all the details about Nic’s purchase. After reading, you just might have something to add to your holiday wish list!

Raw Meat From a Vending Machine?

Wow. Our buddy Perez Hilton has opened my eyes to a new phenomenon that leaves me asking, What is this world coming to?

Apparently, you can now purchase raw steaks and beef from your local Minimart in Birmingham, Alabama.

Right next to the cigarettes, Funyuns and toilet paper.

There is something strange about this to me. I don’t know why it’s such a shock, but I just can’t imagine my hubby saying, “Hey honey, I stopped for gas and got us some ribeyes for dinner!”

What do you think about this concept? Will it grow on us just like everything else we’ve become accustomed to? Or is this doomed to failure?
