Is It a Cake or Is It a Steak?

It really is a work of true craftsmanship.

It is indeed a steak . . .

. . . but a steak that is a cake.

See?

This is a gorgeous creation from Debbie Does Cakes. And it just may be my favorite.

Forget all the confectionery, snowball, princess-looking ones – bring on the one that looks like a hunk ‘o meat!

This kind of artistry just blows my mind. I can’t even begin to understand how you could create something that looks so lifelike out of sugar, flour and all those ingredients.

The detail is so out of this world, it almost fooled me.

Almost.

What Does Steak Mean?

Is this a deep, philosophical question?

An inquiry from a visitor to our planet?

Nope, just a “Who’s on first?” type of comedy skit from our friends at BBC.

Steak style.

Funny? You decide!

Beef Flavored Water?

Say it ain’t so.

Oh, it’s so.

And it’s called MeatWater.

Mmmm.

Really?

There are tasty flavors like Beef Salad, Beef Stroganoff and even Cheese Burger. You know, for when you want that meaty taste – in a liquid form.

I’ve read the product information and yet, I’m still confused. What is the point of this again?

Here’s what the Web site says about this pure yumminess:

It is a realm of complete and profound darkness consisting (of) absolutely no meat but the thought patterns of those in it. It  is a beautiful and heavenly experience because, in the absence of all else, the privileged consumers will be able to perfectly see the love and light they have cultivated within themselves.

Come again?

It consists of “absolutely no meat but the thought patterns of those in it.” I don’t know how to begin to comprehend that.

So I won’t.

If you have tasted this or are willing to go out and taste this will you please, please report back to me your “thought patterns” after doing so? I’m curious – but not enough to taste it myself.

I have a low pain threshold.
