Steak is On My Christmas List

OMG!

I’m a sucker for brilliant packaging and marketing. I love pretty things. And with this little item I’m not sure if I like the packaging or what’s inside best!

Okay, I pick “inside,” but it wins by just a hair.

They must have had me in mind when they created this sweet gift box because this is a girl’s dream come true.

Holy smokes – opening up these babies on Christmas morning would make me feel like a princess – or a queen – or a princessy queen.

Plus, I’d know what I’m having for dinner later. No question.

This is just a little hint from me to you:  If you really like someone, THIS is the way to show them! You can check out all the different varieties that come in this lovely gift box here.

And, eh hem, I like boneless ribeyes. You know, just in case, well, you know.

Happy shopping!

Sweet Tomato Beef

Simply beautiful.

Sweet. Tangy. Smooth. Crunchy. It’s all in there.

This beef in a sweet tomato sauce with sugar snap peas is a wonderful, quick meal for those nights when you’re short on time – but long on hunger.

And I don’t know about you, but I seem to crave beefy meals even more in the cold months. Hearty, satisfying meals are always on my winter menu.

Check out the full recipe here and don’t forget to pair this with the steamed jasmine rice Jackie suggests.

Magnifique!

Enjoy Your Barbecue, San Francisco!

The San Francisco Giants claimed the World Series as their own last night and as the bet goes, their mayor will receive a heapin’ mess of Texas barbecue.

The friendly wager between Arlington’s mayor and Frisco’s mayor has turned out to be quite the prize for the city by the bay.

Doesn’t that brisket look gorgeous? Pure beefy, smoky goodness. Makes you wonder if those Giants players were thinking of THIS as they were beating up on the Rangers.

Eat up, Mr. Newsom! You and your city deserve it!

Well played, sir. Well played.
