Wine and Steak? Yes, Please!

Wine and Steak

A good wine, a nice steak — they’ve been complementary since, well, time began.

But over the years the method of choosing just the right wine for every cut of beef has been honed and refined.

For instance, why is Pinot Noir the right choice for a beefy roast and vegetables? Experts know.

And did you know a high-acidity wine pairs beautifully with sharply-flavored red meats?

Me neither. But I’d like to know these things.

Check out these pairings and jump into the game yourself!

A little education is so refined. Perfect with a glass of wine and my favorite Kansas City steaks!

Delicious Skirt Steak Recipe

Skirt Steak Recipe

Looking for something new and scrumptious to try at home? Look no further than this skirt steak recipe!

Skirt Steak with Garlic Confit and Broccoli Rabe from Chris Robertson, a New York sous chef is decadent and delicious.

I like the flexibility of his recipe because you are not limited to just skirt steak. Try another cut if the mood strikes you!

But the red wine marinade? Well, THAT is a must.

Have fun trying this one at home – you’ll be eating just like a sous chef! And this is a man who knows his food!

Steak With Hashbrowns

Because I really like you, I give you THIS . . .

A thick, juicy, bone-in, Flintstones-lookin’ steak delight paired with a hunk ‘o hashbrowns.

I’m sorry, this is pure heaven.

I’d seriously rather have this over an entire chocolate cake any day. Hands down.

Plus wine? It’s too much goodness. It’s like looking right into an angel’s eyes. I’m not sure I’m worthy.

Click here to read a little more about this truly exquisite meal. But really — you know all you need to know from the photo.

You’re welcome!
