Fish Friday Idea

Fish Friday Jumbo Shrimp

Fish Friday can mean almost anything from the sea. And it’s the one day where I’ll allow a break from my beloved steaks.

One. Day.

I’m thinking about some jumbo shrimp. You know, since we aren’t having steak.

Ever tried shrimp pizza? It’s pizza so it HAS to be good!

Check out this incredible recipe for Grilled Shrimp Pizza with Cilantro Pesto.

It’s amazing. And jumbo shrimp on a pesto sauce pizza is an excellent Fish Friday option.

Let me know what YOU think of this yummy Friday dish!

Time To Try a Seafood Bake

Seafood Bake

I simply adore a full meal cooked all at once!

The many flavors blend together for such a delicious final product.

A Seafood Bake mixes Maine lobster tails, shrimp, mussels, scallops, corn on the cob and baby potatoes with a rich, herbed lemon butter sauce.

Sound delicious? It is!

At my house, we add steak on the barbie for the ultimate surf and turf.

Sheer heaven.

I prefer ribeye steaks but my husband is partial to Kansas City strip steaks. But any steak cut makes sense with a Seafood Bake. It all works!

Itching to try it? All you need to do is bake for just under an hour. That’s it! Add a little Chardonnay and you’re all set.

It doesn’t get any simpler than that. Less time working and more time enjoying!

Summertime Salmon

salmon_2013_lrg

Seafood is a delicious summer treat.

And since we only have one more weekend of this beautiful season, why not try some light and tasty salmon recipes?

This sweet chili salmon (above) I absolutely LOVE! It’s marinated in the goodness of a sweet chili sauce for that just right flavor combo.

Wanna dip your salmon in something tasty? Try this outstanding tartar sauce recipe. It’ll knock your socks off!

You can also walk on the wild side and try a trio of seafood favorites – all at the same time: salmon, jumbo shrimp and crabcakes. It’s a seafood smorgasbord!

Soak in the flavors of summer this weekend, friends, it’s the last of the year!!!
