Depressed? Eat Your Meat!

Ladies, are you depressed or anxious? It’s time to put the right amount of red meat into your diet!

Or so says a recent Australian study which claims that women who cut out red meat were TWICE as likely to suffer from depression or anxiety.

TWICE AS LIKELY.

We steak enthusiasts have known for a long time that the right amount of red meat in our diets does wonders for us. Mentally and physically.

National Nutrition Month: Focus on Lean Meat

Since March is National Nutrition Month, there’s a lot of talk about eating healthy out there.

We steak lovers strive to be healthy, too, so I thought we might like a refresher on what the leanest cuts of meat actually are.

And where’s the best place to get this information? The American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics at EatRight.org.

Click here to see the full answer to the question:  “Which cuts of meat are considered lean?”

And when you’re ready to incorporate some sirloin into your weekly menus, you can order some fantastic beef that has been certified extra lean by the American Heart Association here.

What are YOUR goals for this National Nutrition Month???
