Beef Monster

I love it when playing with your food is deemed acceptable.

And New York artist Kasia Haupt has made it cool to do just that.

She’s created sandwich monsters as a form of art. And she’s getting raves for it.

The creation above is a Philly cheesesteak wonder. But perhaps this one is more your style…

Steak tartare maybe? You’ve got to admit, these show some incredible creativity! Check out all of Haupt’s food creations here.

What do you think? Do you like these monster sandwiches? Or do they make you lose your appetite?

Summer Grillin’

Fire up the grill, it’s summer! (At least it is in my mind.)

Try cooking something you’ve never tried before. Like steak with a chimichurri sauce (doesn’t that look yummy????).

Or a simple beef kebab with assorted veggies – or even fruit!

Working Mother has some great grilling ideas for us to try and conquer this summer. Check them out here. And while the grilling part is fun, the eating part is more fun!

So, go – grill to your heart’s content!

Most Expensive Hot Dogs

If you love hot dogs (and we know you love beef) then these incredibly expensive (yet amazingly tasty) dogs just might be for you!

Take Exhibit A above. It’s a foot long, is infused with 100-year-old cognac and topped with lobster and Kobe beef. It costs $100.

Then there’s a 3/4 pound beef frank with moose cheese from Sweden, bacon and mustard from France. That’ll set you back about $145.

For. One. Hot. Dog.

Check out all the expensive hot dogs here. Maybe it’ll give you ideas for a pricey dog of your own!
