South American Steak Sauce

Maybe you’ve heard of chimichurri sauce, but doesn’t it sound more exotic to call it South American steak sauce?

I love this stuff. So spicy. So lively.

This recipe calls for us to liberally apply it to hanger steak. But you can use any cut you see fit.

After all, YOU’RE eating it!

Summer Grillin’

Fire up the grill, it’s summer! (At least it is in my mind.)

Try cooking something you’ve never tried before. Like steak with a chimichurri sauce (doesn’t that look yummy????).

Or a simple beef kebab with assorted veggies – or even fruit!

Working Mother has some great grilling ideas for us to try and conquer this summer. Check them out here. And while the grilling part is fun, the eating part is more fun!

So, go – grill to your heart’s content!

Cinco de Mayo Skirt Steak

Cinco de Mayo Skirt Steak

This weekend (Saturday to be exact) is Cinco de Mayo – the perfect excuse to cook something beefy with a Mexican flair!

This Cinco de Mayo Skirt Steak recipe made with skirt steak and mozzarella cheese is the perfect way to kick up your heels…and kick back.

They’re not only visually impressive, but the flavor combination of lime, cilantro, vinegar, olive oil, garlic and more make this something you’ll want to experience again and again.

Click here for this enticing recipe. And follow it to a T – you don’t want your chimichurri sauce TOO pureed.

Just saying.

Enjoy… and ole!
