Reward Yourself This Holiday Season

gift

You give so much to everyone else, don’t forget to pamper yourself while you have some time off this holiday season.

If you’re like me, a little red wine goes a long way toward smoothing out the kinks of the day. How about a red wine gift set – for you?

And ya gotta eat, right? Steaks are the perfect complement to that smooth red wine. Why not indulge in some American Wagyu Kobe steaks?

They’re a delicacy. Like you.

Or maybe filet mignon is more your style. Try your luck and enter this contest (http://www.andreasworldreviews.com/2014/12/christmas-wishes-kansas-city-steaks.html) and maybe you can even WIN yourself some steaks!

Even better!

This is the time to reflect on a year well lived. To me, red wine and juicy steaks are the perfect way to toast to what you’re thankful for this holiday season.

Me? Well, I’m pretty thankful for steaks and red wine.

Oh Kobe You’re So Fine…

THIS is where it’s at.

Or so I’ve heard.

You see, I haven’t actually had the pleasure of immersing myself in a Kobe steak yet.

I think it’s because I get stuck in my ways. When I eat a steak I end up cooking my go-to cut.

And, I guess I just haven’t gotten around to trying Kobe. It’s just inertia, really.

I’ve heard such amazing things about it you’d think I would have rushed out and tried it.

I’ve heard about its incredible marbling, flavor and tenderness. This photo is of boneless ribeye. Mmmm.

I should treat myself. Okay, I will. Yeah, thanks for the encouragement!

I WILL!!!

Have YOU tried it? If you have, is it the only steak you’ll eat now?

Is Kobe Beef All It’s Cracked Up To Be?

A beautiful piece of meat to me is one of life’s greatest pleasures.

A buttery tender consistency and juicy, flavorful taste make any day worth living.

But that’s just me.

Or is it?

There are differing opinions out there as to whether Kobe beef (that Japanese delicacy) is worth the extra effort to find it, pay for it and cook it properly.

Well, I’m here to tell ya – it’s worth it, man.

These are specially-bred cattle so the price is a bit more. That’s understandable. And the finding it part? Not so difficult. You can order some American Wagyu Kobe here and have it delivered right to your door.

And the cooking? Not really any different than any other cut. It’s just that the result is much more tender and flavorful.

Read on here to see what others have to say about this topic.

And if you haven’t tried it yourself yet – treat yourself!  Think of it as an experiment.

An experiment in deliciousness.

Yeah, it’s a word.

Go forth and savor!
