Favorite Foods of Presidents

It’s President’s Day! As a lover of food, I want to know . . . what do the presidents of the greatest nation on Earth like to eat?

Above, you’ll see President Lyndon B. Johnson chowing down on ribs, but as a senator he liked to have a hamburger for lunch every day.

Dwight D. Eisenhower enjoyed beef stew – a man after my own heart. And Harry S Truman? Well-done steaks.

I’m on board with the steak part, but maybe ease up on the well-done aspect.

Click here to see more fascinating tidbits about the leaders of our nation and what they like/liked to eat.

And while you’re drooling over their favorite meals, have a happy President’s Day!

Steaky Grammar Lesson

A lesson in proper grammar AND it features a steak? I’ve found Nirvana.

Heed this grammar advice and you won’t waste your time congratulating a steak. Although, sometimes I do feel like doing that when it’s especially tasty.

Happy Monday After the Super Bowl, everyone!

Steak Etiquette

Is it okay to ask for steak sauce at a steakhouse?

Does it insult the chef if you order your steak well done? (Well, that’s why I like my steak at home – I never insult myself. But that’s another story.)

These steak questions and more are answered by celebrity chef Bobby Flay in this enlightening video (click on photo).

Click here for video. Then go cook a steak at home – where no one will judge you. Well, except maybe the cat.
