Basketball Bites

This Garlic Bread Steak Sandwich (otherwise known as Pittsburgh Cheese Steak) was pinned on Pinterest under the title “March Basketball Bites.”

I couldn’t agree with this representation more. You absolutely NEED something hearty and delicious to carry you through the awesome basketball going on right now.

Even if you’re a spectator.

Made with thinly sliced sirloin steak for ultimate flavor, this is much like the beloved Philly Cheese Steak, but with a twist.

Check out the full recipe for Garlic Bread Steak Sandwiches here. And be sure to savor every bite.

Your team needs you!

One bite and you’ll know this one is a slam dunk! (Yeah, I went there.)

Philly Cheese Steak Video

Oh, wow. This video shows us how amazingly easy it is to make our own Philly Cheese Steak sandwiches at home.

Seriously. It’s so easy it’s embarrassing.

Our Aussie friend takes boneless ribeyes in the video and slices them up really nice and thin.

BUT . . . you can make it even easier on yourself and use this beautiful Top Sirloin that’s already sliced for you. No cutting!

When you watch the video — which is less than two minutes long — see if you can keep your mouth from watering.

I couldn’t. The sight of that melted cheese and sizzling beef got to me.

Happy videoing!

Steak Muffins?

I truly had never considered this one before. But now? Well, the possibilities are endless!

This recipe for Philly Cheesesteak Muffins defies all boundaries of what a muffin should be. And yet, it doesn’t.

Why NOT serve tender meat in muffin form?

I am broadening my horizons and realizing that just because I’ve never done something before doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be done.

I’m growing.

Shall we grow together?

The recipe’s author, Gloria Hander Lyons, espouses the view that basically anything can be made into a muffin. Her booklet, Your Favorite Meals in a Muffin, is sheer genius.

Try it and let me know the verdict. Think of how handy these babies would be when you’re on the go!

I’m dying to know what you think!
