Fall Food Faceoff: KC vs. Philly Cheesesteak

Sandwich Steaks

It’s safe to say if you’re a steak lover you know what a Philly cheesesteak is. Thinly, thinly sliced top sirloin with ooey gooey cheese and whatever else you crave – peppers, onions, etc.

But, what’s a Kansas City cheesesteak? Well, see above, my friends. It’s a variation, but a distinct difference. Want a fantastic KC cheesesteak recipe? Try this one.

Now, once you’ve partaken of both cheesesteak varieties, tell me, which one wins the faceoff? KC cheesesteak or Philly cheesesteak?

The fate of a city is in your hands.

Choose wisely.

Schwarzenegger Steak Sandwich

Have you ever seen such a monstrosity?

This steak sandwich has 80,583 calories and contains cheese, steak, bacon and ostrich eggs!

Now WHO would attempt to eat a sandwich like this?

None other than Arnold Schwarzenegger – THE TERMINATOR.

“This sandwich will be so meaty,” Arnie says, “it will make a weak man cry.”

I’m crying already and I haven’t even attempted it.

Not that I will.

I LOVE beef but this amount is too powerful for me.

Basketball Bites

This Garlic Bread Steak Sandwich (otherwise known as Pittsburgh Cheese Steak) was pinned on Pinterest under the title “March Basketball Bites.”

I couldn’t agree with this representation more. You absolutely NEED something hearty and delicious to carry you through the awesome basketball going on right now.

Even if you’re a spectator.

Made with thinly sliced sirloin steak for ultimate flavor, this is much like the beloved Philly Cheese Steak, but with a twist.

Check out the full recipe for Garlic Bread Steak Sandwiches here. And be sure to savor every bite.

Your team needs you!

One bite and you’ll know this one is a slam dunk! (Yeah, I went there.)
