What I Did Over Summer Break: Beef Kabob Edition

We couldn’t help but bask in the gorgeous weather this weekend.

And here’s what goes along with that . . .

Kabobs, kabobs and more kabobs.

We grilled up seasoned beef kabobs and sprinkled in a few chicken and even salmon kabobs for good measure.

The backyard was filled with the enchanting aroma of sizzling meat and vegetables while the kids swam and goofed off.

An absolutely perfect summer day.

It’s times like this when you wonder if life can get any better. The trick is to not think too much further beyond the moment. It was exquisite.

I hope you are having as much fun with summer as we are!

Steak Couture

This is the shirt you wear to that important PTA meeting.

It’s what you wear to a birthday party at the bowling alley. A charity gala. Your cousin’s wedding.

This is a versatile shirt, my friends.

Where wouldn’t you want to express your disdain for vegetarians AND your love of beef at the same time?

It can truly go anywhere.

No need to tell me thank you for turning you on to this. Your wearing of this garment will be thanks enough.

Oh Kobe You’re So Fine…

THIS is where it’s at.

Or so I’ve heard.

You see, I haven’t actually had the pleasure of immersing myself in a Kobe steak yet.

I think it’s because I get stuck in my ways. When I eat a steak I end up cooking my go-to cut.

And, I guess I just haven’t gotten around to trying Kobe. It’s just inertia, really.

I’ve heard such amazing things about it you’d think I would have rushed out and tried it.

I’ve heard about its incredible marbling, flavor and tenderness. This photo is of boneless ribeye. Mmmm.

I should treat myself. Okay, I will. Yeah, thanks for the encouragement!

I WILL!!!

Have YOU tried it? If you have, is it the only steak you’ll eat now?
